The research produced by Gerlinda Swillen (1942, Ostende) talk about children born during World War II. Her monography "La valise oubliée. Enfants de guerre (1940-1945)" was translated in 2018 with help from the non-profit Mémoire d'Auschwitz, originally published in Dutch at the Meulenhof-Manteau Editions in 2009.
