ARCHAEOLOGY

Artefacts from certain archaeological digs have also come down to us. This is the case for the Gallo-Roman whetstone workshop in Buizingen, excavated in 1967, which included, in addition to these numerous stones, a hypocaust slab and a large number of roof tiles known as tegulae and imbrex.

We also preserve other types of archaeological artefacts, such as nails, ceramic shards, bones and even shoe soles.
