ARCHITECTURE

The museum also preserves a number of architectural features, including carved wooden staircase heads, fireplace frames and bronze wheel chases designed by Victor Horta in 1910.

The most remarkable piece is a stone mermaid that adorned the façade of the prestigious Hôtel de Nassau, which was rebuilt in the 18th century to make way for the current Palais de Charles de Lorraine.
